Apisith & Alliance recently announced the incoming of Utain Vichaipairojwong as a new partner in its corporate and practice group. The managing partner, Apisith John Sutham, notes that Utain’s joining is a part of the firm’s desire to boost its corporate and commercial practice in addition to the firm’s international trade and intellectual property practices. Prior to joining Apisith & Alliance, Utain was a partner and head of corporate department of Mayer Brown JSM Bangkok Office, where he worked for 10 years. His practice focuses on foreign direct investment, mergers & acquisitions, corporate matters and general commercial transactions. Utain graduated from Thammasat University and received a Masters in International Economic Laws from University of Warwick. He is admitted to practice in Thailand since 1994, and he is also a member of the Lawyer Council of Thailand and Thai Bar Association.
