Apisith John Sutham is the managing partner of Apisith & Alliance in Bangkok. The legal practice of John focuses on WTO/international trade mainly anti-dumping and other trade remedies, cross-border commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property law. He has extensive experience representing Thai and foreign clients in trade remedy actions as well as advising industries on trade strategy and policy on such matters as free trade agreements, WTO laws and practices, non-tariff barriers and rules of origin. He also has extensive experience representing the interests of Thai and foreign industries in trade remedy proceedings at the ministerial and senior-level government official levels. John has also acquired over the years broad-based commercial and transactional experiences. He advised and acted as lead counsel to Thai and multinational clients on cross-border transactions including international joint ventures and acquisitions of assets and business aboard, as well as offshore transactions and establishment of legal entities in foreign countries. He has taught international economic law at the graduate programs of Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Law and international business law at Webster University, Cha Am campus. He has written and lectured extensively on topics related to international trade and business law, as well as conducting workshops for government officials and organizations such as the International Institute for Trade and Development in Bangkok and the Asian Development Bank. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1991 and an MBA from Solvay Business School (ULB) in 1994.
Utain Vichaipairojwong holds LL.B. from Thammasat University and LL.M. (International Economics Laws) degrees from University of Warwick. Prior to joining Apisith & Alliance, he was a partner of an international law firm, heading its corporate & commercial practice. He has extensive experience in corporate & commercial practices which include business set up, foreign direct investment, mergers & acquisitions, commercial contracts, property, employment and telecommunications. He is a Notarial Services Attorney and also a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and Thai Bar Association.
Kan is the firm’s senior associate and team leader for the general corporate & commercial practice. Kan holds an LL.B. degree from Assumption University and an LL.M. from University of East Anglia. He is a notarial services attorney, public company certified services attorney and member of Lawyers Council of Thailand and Thai Bar Association. He has extensive experiences in all areas of corporate & commercial laws, in particular, foreign investment, mergers & acquisitions, telecommunications, real estate and hotel/resort & property development as well as consumer protection. Kan has taught banking and financial institutions law and e-commerce law at the undergraduate program of the Faculty of Law, Assumption University. He is also visiting lecturer in business law at the Faculty of Business Administration, St. John's University.
Worawut holds LL.B and LL.M degrees from Thammasat University. He has extensive experience in all areas of corporate and commercial practices including as associate with an international law firm and in-house counsel with a major telecommunication. Worawut’s practices focus on corporate & commercial laws, labor, real estate and property, and general business laws. He is a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and Thai Bar Association.
Pattaravadee holds an LL.B degree from Assumption University. She has extensive experience advising clients in all areas of intellectual property laws, including trademark registration and prosecution, both in-bound and out-bound, as well as patent filings in Thailand and abroad. Pattaravadee is a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and Thai Bar Association.
Kittima holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree, majoring in Auditing from the University of the Chamber of Commerce as well as a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Newcastle in Australia. Kittima is a cost analyst who is keen on providing consultations and advice with regard to anti-dumping and trade remedy investigations.
Siriwasar holds LL.B. and LL.M. (in taxation) degrees from Thammasat University. She is a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and Thai Bar Association. Her current practices include corporate & commercial laws, BOI, work permit & visa and taxation.
Pattanan holds an LL.B. degree from Chulalongkorn University and an LL.M. from the University of Durham. Pattanan’s current practice focuses on international trade litigation and antidumping.
Wiyadathawin holds an LL.B. and LL.M. (in taxation) degrees from Assumption University. Her current practices include corporate & commercial laws, foreign direct investment and taxation. She is a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and Thai Bar Association.
Apirak is an accountant by training, having graduated with an B.A. degree in Accounting from Chulalongkorn University. He also holds an LL.B. degree from Ramkhamhaeng University. His experience includes working as an Audit Senior with a Big Four Accounting Firm. Apirak specializes and focuses on trade remedy investigations and related international trade practice.
Sakkapol holds a B.A. degree from Macalester College, a J.D. degree from Tulane University Law School and a M.S. from the London School of Economics. Sakkapol’s practice focuses on general legal practice including corporate & commercial and international trade litigation.
Yuppharat graduated with an LL.B degree from Ramkhamhaeng University. She currently practices in all areas of intellectual property law. She is a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and Thai Bar Association.
Poomsit holds an LL.B degree from Bangkok University (Second Class Honors) and LL.M degree (Health Law) from the University of Washington School of Law. His current areas of practice are corporate & commercial laws and litigation. He is a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and Thai Bar Association.
Worabhatra holds an LL.B. degree from Chulalongkorn University. His current areas of practice are trade remedy/WTO and international trade.
Duantem holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art Program (B.A.) from Ramkamhaeng University. She is experienced in assisting lawyers in all areas of corporate & commercial laws. Her main responsibility is work permit and visa, and other expatriate services.
Chada graduated with a B.A. in English from Walailak University. She performs general secretarial and administrative work. Her other functions include providing executive secretarial support to the senior partner.
